How to Use SurfStats

Colored Boxes: The colored boxes represent traffic types.  They are color coordinated to the bars on the bar graph.
Count (left side): These numbers are counts representing amount of traffic your website is receiving.
Bandwidth (right side): These numbers represent how much bandwidth was used during a certain time period.
Dates: These dates correspond with the bar graph above.
Bar Graph: The bar graph is a visual representation of the traffic the website generated.

Date: This information given in this section tells what dates are used throughout the SurfStats program.
Hits: This information tells how many hits your site received.
Page Views: Explains how many views your website has received.
Client Sessions: Explains how many times a viewer of your website requests a page from the web server.
Bandwidth: This tells how much bandwidth was used.
Monthly Same as Above: This allows the event to recur on the same day (numerical) of every month.
Most Active Periods: This tells the most active period of the day and week.

Table of Contents: This navigation system very easy to use.  All of the links are named to fit the pages. (i.e.: Hour of Day Activity shows what has happened on the website in the past hour.)
General: This section brings you to the main SurfStats page.
Site activity: Gives detailed information on the activity your site has undergone depending on the time period you choose to look at.
Client Activity: Tells which clients have been the most active on your website.  It also tells top regions, countries, and Organizations.
File Activity: This tells which files on your website have been most actively used/downloaded.  It also tell which have least been used.
Advertisement: This shows which ads have been clicked on if you have ads on your website.
Browsers: Tells which browsers have viewed your website as well as any search engines that have visited.
Browser Capabilities: Tells if the users viewing your website have support for Frames, VBScript, JavaScript, Java Applets, for Active X.
Referrers: This tells which websites link to you. It also tells key words users have entered to find your website.
Complete: This brings the navigation bar into the main window of the screen.

I've read about link exchanges a lot recently. I've seen a lot of people who say that their predictions that link exchange would stop working saying that they were right, and that they don't work, and that they in fact hurt your website. Let's stop right there. Proclaiming the death of link exchanges is still a little premature.
