Registration Timeline for 8th Grade Catholic Elementary School Students

Entering C-J for the 2003-04 School Year

 

 

 

October, 2002                    C-J students and administrators visit C-J’s feeder schools *

 

November, 2002                Feeder school 8th grade students spend a partial day at C-J

 

December 8, 2002             Open House at Chaminade-Julienne, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

 

Mid-December, 2002       Mailing from Chaminade-Julienne to parents containing information about the registration process. Included in this mailing is a Release of Records Form. This form must be returned to the student’s current school by January 6,2003. The mailing will also include an Art Test (for all students wishing to take Art classes other than Fine Arts/Art), information on tuition, and an application for financial aid. (Students from non-feeder* Catholic schools will also receive a Registration Information Form).

                                                                                               

January 6, 2003                  Deadline for parents to return the Release of Records Form to student’s current school. (NOTE: Students from non-feeder* Catholic schools must also return the Registration Information Form).

 

January 13, 2003                Art Test due (must be submitted directly to C-J, not to the student’s current school)

 

January 27, 2003                Records must be received by C-J from student’s current school. (These records are transferred directly to C-J by the student’s current school only if parents/students have returned a completed Release of Records Form to the student’s current school.)

 

                                                Registration packets mailed to all feeder school students as well as to all non-feeder Catholic school students who have submitted records and/or made contact with C-J.

 

February 22, 2003           Registration Day at C-J for all Catholic elementary school students (feeder and non-feeder)

·         Course selection made during meeting with member of C-J faculty/staff

·         Non-refundable registration deposit of $100/child is due

·         Completed forms received in registration packet are due

·         Tuition payment method is chosen by completing Choice Letter

·         Registration for Summer Prep Program (program fee collected, amount TBA)

 

 

March 1, 2003                  Deadline for Tuition Assistance Applications and $16 processing fee. Mail both to:

May, 2003                            Notification of Tuition Assistance Awards from C-J

 

Mid-July, 2003                    First tuition payment due for the 2003-2004 school year

 

August, 2003                       Summer Prep Program (an optional week-long program for incoming freshmen that includes study skills instruction as well as an introduction to C-J), dates and fees TBA

 

 

 

* While students from any grade school are welcome at C-J, the following schools are designated by the Cincinnati Archdiocese as C-J feeder schools:  Corpus Christi, Dayton Catholic, Holy Angels, Holy Family, Our Lady of Mercy, Our Lady of the Rosary, Precious Blood, Queen of Martyrs, Resurrection, St. Anthony, St. Christopher, St. Peter, and St. Rita.

I've read about link exchanges a lot recently. I've seen a lot of people who say that their predictions that link exchange would stop working saying that they were right, and that they don't work, and that they in fact hurt your website. Let's stop right there. Proclaiming the death of link exchanges is still a little premature.
