Registration Timeline for Public/Private School Students

Entering C-J for the 2003-04 School Year

 

 

December 8, 2002             Open House at Chaminade-Julienne, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

 

Mid-December, 2002       School Recommendation Form and Release of Records Form sent to parents. The Release of Records Form must be completed and given to student’s present school so that records may be sent to C-J. Parents are responsible for seeing that the student’s present school returns both the student’s records (must include first semester grades) and the School Recommendation Form to C-J by February 7, 2003. Included in this mailing is a Tuition Assistance Application.

 

February 7, 2003               Records from present school (must include first semester grades) and School Recommendation Form must be received by C-J from student’s current school. 

               

February 25, 2003             C-J sends letters (to parents of all students who have sent us their records) announcing the placement test (8th graders), to be conducted on March 8 and interviews (parents and students), to be conducted on March 22.

 

March 1,  2003                 Deadline for Tuition Assistance Applications and $16.50 processing fee. Send both to:

March 8,  2003                   Testing Day for 8th graders (8:30 to 11:30 a.m.)

 

March 22, 2003                Interviewing Day at C-J (by appointment). This day begins the registration process for public and private school students.

·         Interview for student and parent(s)

·         Registration packet received by students/parents

·         Art Test available for any student hoping to take Art classes other than Fine Arts/Art

 

April, 2003                           Families are notified by mail of acceptance and are provided with information for setting registration appointment (to take place in April). This appointment will include:

·         Course selection made during meeting with member of C-J counseling staff

·         Non-refundable registration deposit of $100/child due

·         Completed forms received in registration packet are due

·         Tuition payment method is chosen by completing Choice Letter

·         Registration for Summer Prep Program (program fee collected, amount TBA)

 

May, 2003                            Notification of Tuition Assistance Awards from C-J

 

Mid-July, 2003                    First tuition payment due for the 2003-2004 school year

 

August, 2003                       Summer Prep Program (an optional week-long program for incoming freshmen that includes study skills instruction as well as an introduction to C-J), dates and fees TBA

 

 

 

Should you miss any of the above dates, C-J processes registrations on a space-available basis as records are received. Therefore, it is important C-J receives a copy of the student’s records (must include first semester grades) ASAP. The registration process cannot proceed until C-J receives student records.

I've read about link exchanges a lot recently. I've seen a lot of people who say that their predictions that link exchange would stop working saying that they were right, and that they don't work, and that they in fact hurt your website. Let's stop right there. Proclaiming the death of link exchanges is still a little premature.
