Students need 24 CREDITS to graduate
As
students plan their programs of study, the following considerations
should be kept in mind:
1) Advanced
study beyond state requirements is not only highly recommended,
but is also a prerequisite to certain college programs, e.g. engineering,
nursing, pre-med, business management, pre-law, etc.
2) Biology followed by chemistry and then physics is the science
course sequence recommended by the state colleges of Ohio.
3) Language study for at least two years in the same language
is recommended for students who have average proficiency in English
and plan to enter college. Some Ohio colleges are recommending
three years of a foreign language study for unconditional acceptance.
4) On the recommendation of the Principal, qualified senior students
who are interested may take courses at local colleges for college
credit within the limitation of their high school schedule.
